INGREDIENTS:
Semolina ,Yogurt,Salt ,Water ,Oil,Mustard seeds ,White lentils ,Green chili ,Fruit salt ,red chilli powder,Curry leaves,onions,Lemon juice ,Coriander leaves.
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl, add semolina, yogurt, salt and whisk it.Add water and whisk it. Rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, white lentils, green chili and cook for a minute.
- Pour the tempering over the whisked yogurt and mix it well.Add fruit salt and water and whisk it properly. Transfer this into an idli moulder.Steam It for 10 minutes.
- After it is cooled,cut the idli in 4 equal parts.Transfer this into a bowl, add salt and red chili powder and mix it well.Heat oil in a pan, add mixed idli and cook for 2 – 3 minutes. Remove it from heat.
- Heat oil in a pan, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chili, onions, salt and cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
- Add prepared idli and again cook for 1 – 2 minutes.Add lemon juice, garnish coriander leaves and it is ready to be served.
