Rose Lassi or Rooh Afza Lassi

Summer days are back with temperature reaching new highs every day. Nothing beats the soaring heat better than a cool, refreshing drink. While we should all drink more water to keep our body hydrated, home made juices such as Lassi (a blended form of yogurt and water) which are nutritious and easy to make are one of my personal favourites.

Here goes my recipe for home made Lassi which can be consumed in any part of the day as curd is good for skin and keeps stomach balanced.

Ingredients Required :

  • Yoghurt (full bowl)
  • Milk (250 ml)
  • Sugar (3-4 tbsp, according to taste)
  • RoohAfza Syrup 2 tbsp
  • Ice Cubes (3-4 )

Time Duration : 10 Minutes


  • Take yogurt in a blender and blend well.
  • Now add ice cubes, milk, sugar and Rooh Afza syrup and blend for 2 minutes.
  • Before pouring the mixture into the glass, garnish the side walls of the glass with the Rooh Afza Syrup.
  • Pour the mixture into the glass and garnish it again with Rooh Afza syrup and 1-2 ice cubes on the top and chopped almonds(optional) if you like.
  • Rooh Afza Lassi is ready !!
