The magical land of Siam beckons with its exotic beaches, beautiful mountains and warm welcoming people. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, Thailand has something for everyone.
The natives of Thailand are called Thai. Bangkok is the capital and is the most populous. We had the opportunity to travel to Thailand in 2019 when we visited Bangkok and Phuket.
Most important places In Thailand not to be missed:
- Chiang Mai : This beautiful city in northern Thailand is known for its beautiful historical temples and mountainous landscapes. Some famous attractions are night markets and Elephant Nature Park.
- Bangkok: The capital of Thailand has some great attractions to offer, Wat Arun and Wat Pho are mostly visited places.Chatuchak Weekend Market,it should be in your bucket list.Dont forget to take a ride in TUKTUK.Royal Grand Palace,Sea Aquarium,Mahanakhon Skywalk,Art in paradise are some of the most visited spots.We had the opportunity to visit some of these few places.
- Phuket : is the largest and popular island. Tourists just love this place for its white sand, turquoise and clear water beaches. There are multiple options and facilities available for accommodation from staying in hotels or finding cheaper lodging options.Icing on the cake would be if one takes either a boat or cruise ride to other islands in order to do various adventurous activities.We hired a taxi from the hotel itself and visited places like Tiger kingdom, Karon view point,nearby island( The Promthep Cape),the Big Buddha, Khaorang breeze and explored Kata Beach and did some adventurous activities like Flying Hanuman. It was an exhilarating experience. The local taxi that we hired made it very convenient for us.
- Phi Phi Islands : Beautiful yet stunning beaches are present here with deep coral reefs that makes ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving.
- Pattaya City: It is the closest beach destination to Bangkok. One can find many water sports activities for enjoyment purposes. For an art loving person, it can have multiple places to wander and admire the work.
Like Goa is for India,Thailand is for the world.

Souvenirs,handicrafts items (bags & jewelleries),strolls,natural soaps & face wash.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there,though its for a short time only.
