As the name suggests, it is rice prepared from lemon.It can be savoured as a breakfast,snacks or dinner recipe.It is healthy and can be prepared in a jiff.It only needs few ingredients to make .So lets start it.You can have it with any sauce or chutney or curd or pickle or simply with nothing.
Procedure :
In pan put oil,after it is heated for some time,put mustard seeds,red chilly,urad dal,chana dal,curry leaves and saute it for some time till you get a nice aroma .You can also add some cashews if you like.After that add a pinch of turmeric powder and salt and saute for some time.The next step is to add the prepared rice or left over rice and mix it till it turns yellow.The last and most important step is to squeeze 5-6 drops of lemon and give it a good mix.Sprinkling coriander leaves is optional.Tada,Our lemon rice is ready to be served.
