My motto – No matter the mood, the mess, the “what,”
Love is the choice — again and again — no matter what.
Its simply the effort to care and choose each other no matter what!
Relationships are not always happy and kind,
They test the heart, they stretch the mind.
Some days are warm, some days are cold,
Some truths are hard, some words untold.
We carry moods from work and stress,
Sometimes we speak too much or very less.
We misunderstand, we fight and overthink,
We stand too far on fragile brink.
There’s silent dinners, heavy air,
The thought lingering, “Do they still even care?”
Yet morning comes with tea in hand,
A quiet effort to understand.
It’s not big gifts or perfect or romantic lines,
It’s showing up through flawed designs.
It’s choosing patience over pride,
Sitting close when hurt inside.
Parents aging, siblings grown,
Friends now busy with lives of their own.
Partners learning day by day
Love is work — but worth the stay.
No bond survives on words alone,
It grows where consistency is shown.
And real love isn’t loud or fast —
It’s simply love that chooses to last.
